2022 summer online meeting of
BRICS NU International Thematic Group on Energy was held on MPEI Cisco Webex
platform on June 06, 2022. The meeting was arranged by National Research
University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute”, Russia. The meeting was
chaired by Prof. Igor. Zhelbakov. The following BRICS NU coordinators took part
in the ITG Energy meeting:

1. Prof. Richard Stephan presented
the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and his project MagLev for Urban
Public Transportation. The project is submitted to the international
competition of joint projects with partners from Brazil, China, India and
Russia.
2. Prof. Yonghui Sun informed
colleagues about last year call of the BRICS STI Framework Programme, which
could be announced once more in 2022. All the universities should be prepared.
3. Prof. Irina Obukhova shared an
experience of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology of developing Doctoral
Training Centers with the support from Erasmus+ program, which could be a good
example for cooperation within BRICS Network University.
4. The next ITG meeting should be
arranged in October-November 2022.
